Atlantic Spotted Dolphin

The scientific name for the Atlantic Spotted Dolphin is  Stenella frontalis. Atlantic Spotted Dolphin will reach a maximum length of 7 1/2 ft and can weigh over 300 pounds. Females typically weigh around 20 pounds less than their male counterparts. The Atlantic Spotted Dolphin lives in oceans around the United States, Africa, Europe, the Bahamas, and in the Gulf of Mexico.

Clymene Dolphin

The scientific name for the Clymene Dolphin is  Stenella clymene. The adult Clymene Dolphin weighs 170-180 lbs.  The Clymene Dolphin are found in tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean (eastern North America to West Africa), the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico. In the United States they have been recorded as far north as New Jersey and as far west as Texas. 

Rough-toothed Dolphin

The scientific name for the Rough-toothed Dolphin is  Steno bredanensis. The Rough-toothed Dolphin weighs 200-340 lbs.  The Rough-toothed Dolphin is found in all three major oceans of the world the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian.
